In 1993, the Mattheessens moved to Key West and opened a coffee kiosk named after their daughter, "Kaylas Cafe". Not long after they expanded to open a fudge and cookie store. With the success of Mattheessens Candy Kitchen, they moved once again and now have two very successful, established stores on the world famous "Duval Street in Key West."
Mattheessens serves only the freshest products using quality ingredients, we believe in repeat business. Once you bite into one of their half-pound cookies, sample their marble slab fudge, try their refreshingly sweet chocolate dipped key lime pie, or have a lick of their homemade ice cream, you'll be coming back for more. Everything sold in the store is made in the store. We make all of our sweet goodies fresh so we are always baking and providing you with the freshest product possible.
