The Leather Man, Inc. began on Christopher Street in New York City in June, 1965, before Stonewall, when our founder, Chuck Mueller, decided to pack in his day job to make leather clothing for himself and anyone else who might be interested. Most thought he was crazy at the time because'who, besides Chuck, would want to wear leather clothing'' We have come a long way since then.
